Personal Lightwork Coaching

What is a Personal Coach? A coach is a professional generalist whose aptitude is to genuinely guide, to bring forth, the creativity, contribution and potential within another person. A coach helps you weed through all the chaos and patterning in life so you can focus on applying action to your true aspirations and talents.

My philosophy and focus. Thinking productively is to form genius. Acting on your genius is creativity; equally energizing, healing, and fun. Most hide their genius for fear of reprisal or failure and, over time, become ridged. We accept only what we have been told to learn or do and thus stagnate. I propose to guide you into a new way of thinking about your world and you flourishing in it. We will actively seek discovery. I will never tell you what to think, rather, I will help you learn new thinking and doing styles and strategies.

My emphasis is not on financial success. This should flow naturally from our sessions. My focus is on enjoyment, fulfillment and balance. I am most interested in coaching persons who are seeking to bring their spirituality into alignment with their body and mind... those who are open to all the wonderful light within themselves. Too, I have personal experience with chronic illness and/or chronic stress dictating one's life and metaphysical abilities jumping out but not understood or encouraged. Individuals in any of these modes face unique challenges not generally acknowledged or addressed by traditional professions. Our mental, emotional and spiritual powers are needed and able to manifest in a beneficial way in our current reality.

Why and how does Personal Coaching work?  Like Personal Training that is designed to strengthen and form your physical body, a Personal Coach assists you with holistic strength. A coach provides empowered feedback, clarity, intuitive listening, action strategies, compassion and endorsement but most importantly, a coach teaches you different thinking styles so that your natural abilities and happiness can be achieved. The intimate relationship works because there are no hidden agendas, relational entwining or categorized approaches. A coach strongly believes that you are capable and worthy of special attention and that life is a lifelong process of amazing experiences that lead to fulfillment.

The Process -
1) Send me an email inquiry to pzet@montana.com Ask questions, provide a brief summary of why you believe a Personal Coach could assist you and share some background information about yourself. If you have any fears of hiring a Personal Coach please express them. I will respond promptly. Testimonials can also be sent.
2) If energized by this first exchange, correspond by email expressing anything you wish. Do include some areas you feel you would like to work on. I will promptly reply. These first two email sessions are FREE. Note that my interest in utilizing electronic mail prior to a commitment is because it is inexpensive, can be accomplished without stressful time constraints and is less frightening to most than a personal conversation with a stranger. Email will help us decide if our communication interaction will have synergy.
3) Take action. Call 406-834-3573 or email me to confirm your hiring me as your Personal Coach. Send fees in advance to Peggy Zetler 425 Adams Lane, Dillon Montana 59725. I will confirm receipt of your commitment by email and request your best day of the week and time for us to correspond.

Fees - Setting fees for coaching has been the most agonizing aspect of creating this service for you. I feel that my natural talents are a gift to the world and to you. I would like to have you send me a monetary amount or trades based on what you feel my service is/was worth. That cannot occur without us first corresponding so the fees are a guidepost and show me your commitment. I am very open to your suggestions.

*Email Coaching - One session per week; eight consecutive week minimum scheduled on a day that is mutually convenient. Payment in advance prior to sessions is $128.00 for the entire 8 weeks.
*Phone Coaching - One 20 minute session per week; eight consecutive week minimum, where you call me on a day and time mutually agreed upon. Payment in advance prior to sessions is $160.00 for the eight phone sessions. Additional written material will be sent by email or snail mail in addition to phone conversations.

I will do my best to coach you without interruption to our plan. If unforeseen circumstances arise (though they never yet have) from my end, I will either refund you the money for unused sessions or we can forward any missed session to another time. There are NO refunds if you do not communicate. This keeps excuses for not showing up to practice down to a minimum.

Confidentiality - Without exception, every aspect of your life and who you are becoming will be held in the strictest of confidence by me. Privacy is a basic foundation of my character. You may share any aspect of our relationship with others. I will not. I will link to your personal or business website on this site if appropriate and desired by you. I would appreciate the same.

Professional Status - There are several association collectives comprised of professional and personal coaches, most notably the International Coaches Federation, who are trying to set standards of practice and establish referral networks. This has occurred because of the increasing numbers of persons utilizing coaching services across the world. At present, no regulations or criteria have been set on what makes a good or qualified coach. Thus far, it has been left up to the judgment of the consumer and your ability to make an informed choice. I am not a counselor, therapist or guru. I am a coach of a different color. As money allows and depending upon the association's development, I may join. If you have suggestions on what, if anything, you would need regulated, please let me know and I will forward your comments to the current "powers that be."

Visionary Leadership for a Sustainable Age
Gordon Davidson and Corinne McGlaughlin © 1999
Service Offering to follow.

"This describes the new visionary leadership that is emerging
around the globe to address complex problems and create a sustainable
future for humanity and all of life. Visionary leadership is based on
values, vision and vitality. Visionary leaders have a commitment to core
spiritual values. Their leadership is based on an inspirational and
practical vision of the future that invites others to participate as
partners. They radiate a sense of vitality, energy and optimism that
motivates others. And they are innovative, whole systems thinkers who go beyond the limits of conventional thought in their efforts to truly
serve the common good.

INTRODUCTION
As we look around us today, it's clear that there is plenty of
leadership--but we are sadly lacking in visionary leadership‹leadership
with a clear picture of a future that works for everyone and for all of
life on this planet. There are few leaders who can see the big picture
and who have a long term, whole-systems perspective.

But it's equally disappointing to realize that many of those with
vision--those who have a holistic view of the future--also seem to lack
leadership skills. They lack the fiery initiative and courage, as well
as the practical skills, to make their visions a reality.

There is a growing recognition that without vision--and leaders of
vision -- "the people perish." We think we would recognize a visionary
leader when we see one, and we constantly complain about the quality of
our leaders. Yet how often do we acknowledge that the attributes,
qualities and abilities we collectively are willing to recognize and
support in our leaders determines the kinds of leaders who can emerge?
If we want visionary leaders, we have to be able to perceive them and
support them.

This is being confirmed by what physicists call the "participative
nature of the universe"--the fact that the act of looking for certain
information evokes the information we are looking for. What we see is
what we get.

But most importantly, we each need to challenge ourselves to develop
greater leadership skills --and to develop a clearer vision. Effective
leaders inspire people with a vision, but they also take charge and make
things happen. They are courageous in presenting the big picture, but
also in providing a sense of meaning for others. They express passion,
commitment, and responsibility.

What are the qualities, abilities and powers of true visionary leaders?
What is the mysterious inner process within leaders that enables them to
work their magic and radiate the charisma that mobilizes others for a
higher purpose? We can look for true visionary leadership in four major
areas: values, vision, thinking, and relationships.

A COMMITMENT TO CORE SPIRITUAL VALUES
A commitment to core spiritual values is an outstanding characteristic
of all visionary leaders. More self-aware and reflective than others,
they follow an inner sense of direction, and lead from the inside out,
as Mahatma Gandhi did. Gandhi said, "I must first be the change I want
to see in my world." He was a prime example of a commitment to values,
as he freed India by appealing to the moral conscience of Britain and
using "satyagraha" or non-violent action to reveal the immorality of the
British Empire. Great leaders, rather than being corrupted by power, are
elevated by power and exercise moral leadership...

An important study by Prof. Curtis Verschoor published in Management
Accounting last year found that companies with a defined corporate
commitment to ethical principles do better financially than companies
that don't make ethics a key component.

Visionary leaders have the ability to see higher spiritual forces at
work behind the scenes of events, and they align with these supporting
and redemptive forces... a "guiding hand. ...we have a guardian because we serve a great cause, and we shall have that guardian as long as we serve that cause faithfully."

Visionary leaders embody a sense of personal integrity, and radiate a
sense of energy, vitality and will. Will is standing in a spiritual
state of being. Will is a spiritual attribute, which allows a leader to
stand for something, and allows them to embody their principles.
Qualities of intelligence and will are balanced in visionary leaders by
a compassionate heart. The best visionary leaders move energy to a higher level and inspire people to be better than they already are. They help them identify with what Lincoln called "the angels of their better nature"--as Martin Luther King did with his "I have a dream" speech. Like King, these leaders have the ability to sense the deeper spiritual needs of followers and link their current demands to these deeper, often
unspoken, needs. They embody a spirit of service to the greater good,
and inspire service in others... The creative power of lighted, inspired words can sound a certain inner note that people recognize and respond to. This can cause dramatic social change.

A CLEAR VISION AND FIELD CREATION
Visionaries who are successful at manifesting their visions base their
leadership on an inspirational, positive picture of the future, as well
as a clear sense of direction as to how to get there. Vision is a field
that brings energy into form, and effective leaders broadcast a coherent
message by themselves embodying their vision and their values, as
physicist Margaret Wheatley notes in Leadership and the New Science.
They keep communicating their vision to create a strong field which then
brings their vision into physical reality. Nelson Mandela clearly held a
positive vision of a racially harmonious South Africa for over 20 years
while he was in jail, and then helped bring it into reality peacefully--
to the amazement of the world.

Compelling visions come from the heart and evoke enthusiasm and
commitment from others. They link the current needs of people to their
deeper needs. Visionary leaders transmit energy to people, giving them a new sense of hope and confidence in achieving the vision.

Visionary leaders often annunciate great values and principles that
become guideposts for humanity, as Jefferson did with the Declaration of Independence. They intuitively draw on the eternal wisdom and present it in a new synthesis to meet the particular need of the times. In recent
years, Gro Brundtland of Norway helped articulate the principle of
sustainable development that is needed to protect our environment for
future generations.

INTUITIVE, INNOVATIVE THINKING
Visionary leaders are especially noted for transforming old mental maps
or paradigms, and thinking "outside the box" of conventional thought.

They embody a balance of left brain (rational) and right brain
(intuitive) functions. These leaders think broadly and systemically,
seeing the big picture, the whole system, and "the pattern that
connects," as Gregory Bateson said. Environmental economist and futurist Hazel Henderson is an outstanding example today of an innovative thinker who sees the big picture.

Visionary trainer Peter Senge, author of The Fifth Discipline, has
helped thousands of business managers see patterns of interrelationship
in their companies and the interconnection of things. They have learned
to shift their perception from seeing structures and linear cause/effect
chains to seeing processes, and have thus transformed how they do
business.

Visionary thinking is long term, rather than short term, and it explores
the deeper causes of problems to find workable solutions.
Visionary leaders anticipate change and are proactive, rather than
reactive, to events. Their focus is on opportunities, not on problems,
and they tend to emphasize win/win approaches, rather than adversarial
win/lose approaches.

A PARTICIPATORY, PARTNERSHIP APPROACH TO LEADERSHIP
In contrast to the old style of leadership which tells people what to
do, and pushes or dominates them, the new visionary leaders embody a
receptive, as well as a dynamic energy. They know how to listen and
learn from other points of view, asking questions as much as stating
their own opinions and knowledge. The importance of good relationships
in manifesting a vision is clearly understood. These leaders promote a
partnership approach and create a shared sense of vision and meaning
with others. This shared vision is more than an idea-- it is "a force in
people's hearts," as Peter Senge notes. They exhibit a greater respect
for others and carefully develop team spirit and team learning. Building
this sense of shared vision and partnership has also been key to the
effectiveness of many.

"The most effective visionary leaders are responsive to the real needs of people and they develop participative strategies to include people in
designing their own futures. Rather than confront or avoid
conflict, the new visionary leaders have learned how to transform
conflict into usable energy. They work to unite--rather than divide--
people.

CONCLUSION
[These] different spiritual abilities describe the powers of the soul.
When we see a truly visionary leader accomplishing great things, s/he is
drawing on the resources of the soul and its remarkable capabilities. An
effective visionary leader is someone who has experienced a certain
degree of this higher soul infusion.

Today, as we approach the Third Millennium, thousands of new visionary leaders are emerging in all fields of human endeavor around the world, leading a quiet revolution energized by the power of the soul and their spiritual connection to a higher power. It's time we understand the deeper dimensions of these soul-inspired leaders and support them in helping create a more sustainable, just, and compassionate world for all of life. In the participatory universe in which we live, it is time we
looked for these visionary leaders among us and supported them and
humanity's evolution."

FROM PEG
I liked the introduction above by Gordon and Corinne so presented it with some editing to help you understand Visionary Leadership and thus the contribution I provide. Visionary leadership principles and techniques are all over the web and in modern literature as well as recognized in history yet then there was no concise term for such leaders. Sadly, as is the case with most new terms placed on qualities rather than absolutes, the term has, in some cases like education, become political or propagandized to influence others to believe that a new way of doing is occurring. What they discredit is the core of the soul as the fundamental aspect of visionary leadership and without soul recognized and encouraged, it is but rhetoric of a system that will not be out loud about the impetus of positive change. How can educators talk about implementing visionary leadership teachings in school environments without acknowledging and promoting the spirit of the soul? These are by law separate and cannot be mingled with education so words of wholistic education that do not include the spirit and soul or the power of divine information and action are not going to be effective except in the short term where they influence others under guise so they may continue their denial.

I suggest you to be discerning. Feel as you listen to those who are leading us into a new world. Do goose bumps form, tears well up? Do you find yourself shouting in your mind... "That is right. The insanity must stop?" Or has the presentation designed to influence you only spoken to the logical part of your inculcated thinking. If it evokes no more than intellectual review no matter how perfectly persuasive the presentation, it is likely not what it seems. This process of discernment may seem very complex and in this information bombardment environment way beyond your interest to pay attention to but KNOW that it is very simple. Without trying, if you feel, react physically and instantly intellectualize the rightness of the leadership, it is real and you are meant to take action on your knowing and compulsion to assist. All else quickly will be stored for future reference. Have you ever had your light bulb go off and you said to yourself and/or others that you knew that but had no idea where you gained the insight or knowledge? You just know without knowing how you know? See, information you need is always retained even if you cannot recall it upon command. The more you open up to all your modules, mind, body and soul, the more information will naturally come forth to help you contribute your leadership. First you must lead yourself.

I assist others in what I refer to as the Gray Area of Business which is further described by clicking Orb Economic (OrbEcon) and Profiles. Like many of you I still grapple with charging a fee for my progressive input to you because to me it is invigorating, fun and productive in a larger framework and thus is immeasurable yet in our system as it stands, in order to give more and modestly support my family, a reciprocal relationship should occur. We indeed feed each other. If you need a catalyst I will help. If you can pay or trade or contribute to other projects I assist with I will receive. If you cannot reciprocate in kind or fee I understand because I live in this problem as well. We can find some way that is mutually beneficial and allows each of us to feel we are giving as much as we are gaining.

CONTACT me first by email at pzet@montana.com and let me know where you are at with brining your purpose and passions to others. I will extend myself openly and honestly to help you DO.
